Sacred Sister
Although we were born of different parents,
We favor by more than face;
Yet God allowed for us to meet,
Within this time and space.
Time and again we talk and laugh,
We share each other’s pain;
We seek the Lord together in prayer,
With a bond so easily sustained.
Blood related, we are not,
Closely attached, we are;
By the grip and hold of the Holy Ghost,
A wonderful joy by far.
So true you are so dear to me,
A gift from the Master’s hand;
Much wisdom is found within your speech,
For my journey, I better understand.
For I am so blessed, to know you so well,
So true my sister in Christ;
Great is your soul, who’s ultimate goal,
Is to bring glory to God with your life.
